Next to/Alongside their culturally pivotal and tragic opening up of Saturday trading holus-bolus throughout the length and breadth of God's Own/Godzone... the liberalization of which, alongside Sunday trading laws both (attempted) at that time and in the 1990s (when the legislation passed through Parliament)... has long since morphed into the consumerist free-for-all so detrimental to our once sacred way of life here.
